About this experience
A 6-day, 5-night private Bali honeymoon pairing Ubud's rice terraces and jungle villas with three nights on the coast - Seminyak for beach clubs and sunsets, or Nusa Dua for quiet luxury and calm water. Private car, private pool villa options, and a pace built for two.
Day by day
Day 1 — Arrival in Denpasar, Transfer to Ubud Route: Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) → Ubud (approx. 40 km, 1.5–2 hours)
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar and clear immigration - Indian passport holders pay IDR 500,000 for visa-on-arrival, or pre-purchase the e-VOA online. Bali's tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per person is also payable online or at the airport. Your driver meets you at arrivals and drives to Ubud - 1.5–2 hours through Denpasar and Sukawati, depending on traffic. Ubud sits at 200 m in Bali's central highlands and is the island's cultural and wellness heart. Check in to your boutique stay or private pool villa. Take the late afternoon slowly - walk the Campuhan Ridge Walk (2 km, easy, starts near the Ibah Hotel) before dusk, then a slow dinner at a Ubud café. The town has strong vegetarian, vegan and Balinese options.

Important: DPS immigration can take 45–90 minutes in peak season (July-August, December). Arrange your driver's waiting time accordingly. Ubud traffic is heavy between 4-7 PM - aim to arrive before 3 PM if your flight permits. If you've booked a private pool villa, confirm the pool is heated or has a jacuzzi - Ubud evenings are cooler than the coast.
Day 2 — Ubud: Rice Terraces, Water Temple and Spa Afternoon Route: Ubud → Tegallalang → Tirta Empul → Ubud
Start early at Tegallalang Rice Terraces (approx. 30 minutes north of Ubud) - the stepped terraces are best at 7-8 AM before tour buses arrive. The trail through the terraces is free but local farmers ask for donations (IDR 10,000-25,000) at certain points. Then drive to Tirta Empul (approx. 20 minutes further) - a 10th-century water temple where Balinese Hindus perform melukat (purification) in the spring-fed pools. Visitors can participate if dressed in a sarong and sash (rentable at the entrance). Return to Ubud for lunch, then a couples' spa afternoon - Ubud is the spa capital of Bali, with treatments ranging from Balinese massage (IDR 250,000-500,000 for 60 minutes) to flower baths and couples' packages (IDR 800,000-1,500,000). Evening free - Ubud Palace has traditional Legong and Barong dance performances most nights (IDR 100,000 per person). This is the slower of the two Ubud days - deliberately so.

Important: Do not carry food or loose items into temple areas - macaques near Tirta Empul grab them. Women who are menstruating are traditionally not permitted inside Tirta Empul's inner temple - this is a local religious rule. Book couples' spa in advance in peak season - the best Ubud spas fill up 2–3 days ahead. Spa treatments are not included in the package.
Day 3 — Ubud to Seminyak or Nusa Dua Route: Ubud → Seminyak (approx. 1.5–2 hours) OR Ubud → Nusa Dua (approx. 2–2.5 hours)
A slow morning in Ubud - breakfast overlooking the rice fields, a final walk through the Ubud Market, or a short visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (IDR 80,000 per person, 10 hectares of jungle with 1,200+ long-tailed macaques). Check out by 11 AM and drive to the coast. Seminyak and Nusa Dua are two very different coasts - Seminyak is the beach club and sunset capital (Potato Head, Ku De Ta, La Plancha), with a mix of villas, restaurants and boutiques. Nusa Dua is the quieter, more upscale resort enclave - calm water, wide beaches, and 5-star properties with private beach access. Choose one for your three coastal nights. Arrive by early afternoon, check in, and spend the rest of the day settling in - beach walk, pool, or a sunset drink at a beach club.

Important: Seminyak and Nusa Dua traffic can add 30–60 minutes to the drive in peak hours. Seminyak is better for couples who want nightlife, beach clubs and restaurant variety. Nusa Dua is better for couples who want quiet, luxury and calm water. Tell us at booking which suits your honeymoon - this is the single biggest decision on this itinerary.
Day 4 — Coastal Day: Beach Clubs, Water Sports, or Uluwatu Temple Route: Seminyak or Nusa Dua → Uluwatu Temple (day trip) → back to hotel
A full coastal day. If staying in Seminyak, the morning is beach time on Double Six or Petitenget Beach, followed by an afternoon at a beach club - Potato Head and Ku De Ta are the established ones, with pools, daybeds and sunset views. If staying in Nusa Dua, the morning is the resort's private beach or water sports at Tanjung Benoa (jet ski, parasailing, banana boat - IDR 300,000–800,000 per activity). In the late afternoon, drive to Uluwatu Temple (approx. 45 minutes from Seminyak or 1 hour from Nusa Dua) - a clifftop temple at 70 m above the Indian Ocean, famous for its sunset and the nightly Kecak fire dance performance (IDR 150,000 per person, starts at 6 PM). Return to your hotel by 9 PM.

Important: Uluwatu Temple is home to aggressive macaques - keep sunglasses, hats, phones and loose items secure. The Kecak fire dance starts at 6 PM and sells out - book in advance. Jimbaran Bay seafood dinner (grilled fish on the beach, IDR 400,000-800,000 per person) is a honeymoon standard - reserve a table on the sand in advance.
Day 5 — Coastal Day: Relaxed Beach Day or Nusa Penida Day Trip Route: Seminyak or Nusa Dua (in and around) OR Day trip to Nusa Penida
A flexible day, depending on your energy. The relaxed option is a full beach day at your resort - pool, spa, beach - with a couples' massage in the afternoon. The adventurous option is a day trip to Nusa Penida - a fast boat from Sanur (approx. 45 minutes) to see Kelingking Beach (the T-Rex cliff viewpoint), Angel's Billabong and Broken Beach. Day trips to Penida take 10-12 hours door-to-door and are best booked as a private tour rather than a group tour. Return to your hotel by evening. Dinner at a Seminyak or Nusa Dua restaurant - Seminyak has a stronger independent restaurant scene; Nusa Dua is more resort-based.

Important: The Nusa Penida day trip requires an early start (6 AM departure from Seminyak, 5:30 AM from Nusa Dua) and returns by 7 PM. Fast-boat tickets (~IDR 175,000-250,000 per person each way) are not included. Kelingking's descent to the beach is steep - viewing from the top is the standard option. If you're doing this day trip, book it as a private tour with a car and driver on Penida - group tours are rushed.
Day 6 — Departure from Bali Route: Seminyak or Nusa Dua → Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Seminyak is a 30-45 minute drive to DPS; Nusa Dua is 20-30 minutes. International departures recommend arriving 3 hours before the flight - DPS immigration and security can be slow in peak season. If your flight is later in the day, use the morning for a final beach walk or last-minute shopping - Seminyak has boutiques along Jalan Kayu Aya; Nusa Dua has Bali Collection mall. Pack liquids in checked luggage - DPS security is strict about liquids in carry-on.

Clothing: Lightweight cottons and quick-dry fabrics. Swimwear (2 sets). Sarong (for temples - also rentable at entrances). Two smart-casual outfits for honeymoon dinners. Light rain jacket (wet season). Modest clothing for temples - shoulders and knees covered. One light layer for Ubud evenings.
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or trail runners for Ubud and Uluwatu. Sandals or flip-flops for the beach and pool. Reef shoes optional.
Travel Essentials: Reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 50+), insect repellent, after-sun lotion, power bank, universal adapter (Indonesia uses Type C/F, 230V), basic medicines (stomach upsets are common), reusable water bottle, dry bag for beach days.
Documents: Passport (6+ months validity), e-VOA or VOA receipt, Bali tourist levy receipt, travel insurance copy, printed hotel vouchers, passport-size photos (2), international debit/credit card for IDR withdrawals.

Best Time to Travel:
April to October is Bali's dry season - the best window for this honeymoon itinerary. April–June and September–October are the sweet spots: dry, fewer crowds, better hotel rates. July–August is peak season - dry weather but crowded and expensive; book 8–10 weeks ahead, especially for private pool villas in Ubud and Seminyak. December–March is the wet season - frequent afternoon rain, higher humidity, and beach clubs can be washed out. December and January are the busiest due to Christmas and New Year.
Suitable For:
Couples and honeymooners who want a mix of culture (Ubud) and coast (Seminyak or Nusa Dua). This is not a beach-only trip - Ubud's temples, rice terraces and spa scene occupy the first two days. Not suitable for travellers who want full-day beach time every day, or who want adventure activities (rafting, trekking) - those can be added but aren't part of this package. No children - this is a couples-only itinerary.
Travel Pace:
Relaxed. Maximum driving day is Ubud–Nusa Dua (2–2.5 hours) or Ubud–Seminyak (1.5–2 hours). Day 4 involves a late-afternoon Uluwatu trip (45 minutes each way). Day 5 has a relaxed option and an adventurous Nusa Penida option. This is a honeymoon pace, not a sightseeing checklist.
Accommodation:
Ubud: boutique hotel, resort, or private pool villa (double sharing). Properties in the Ubud hills have rice-field or jungle views - the best ones are in the Sayan or Tegallalang areas, 10-15 minutes from central Ubud. Seminyak: 5-star resort or private pool villa - the Seminyak villa market is the strongest in Bali. Nusa Dua: 5-star resort with private beach access - the most consistent luxury enclave in Bali. Upgrades and villa-specific requests should be shared at booking.
Transport:
Private AC vehicle (Toyota Innova or similar) for all transfers and sightseeing. The vehicle is exclusively for the two of you. Airport transfers are included. The Nusa Penida day trip (optional) requires a fast boat from Sanur - tickets not included.
Meals:
Breakfast included on all days. Lunches and dinners are not included - budget IDR 150,000–400,000 per person per meal depending on the restaurant. Ubud has excellent cafés and vegetarian/vegan options. Seminyak has a strong independent restaurant scene - La Lucciola, Sarong, Metis for special dinners (book ahead). Nusa Dua is mostly resort dining, with some independent options. Jimbaran Bay seafood dinner (grilled fish on the beach) is a honeymoon standard - reserve a table on the sand. Halal food is widely available; vegetarian and vegan options are excellent.
Important Notes:
Visa-on-arrival (VOA): IDR 500,000 per person. Indian passport holders can pre-purchase e-VOA online. Also pay the Bali tourist levy (IDR 150,000 per person) - online before arrival or at the airport.
Carry cash. ATMs in Seminyak and Ubud are reliable; ATMs in Nusa Dua are more limited. Withdraw IDR 3–5 million at the airport or in Seminyak/Ubud for daily expenses.
Bali traffic: Ubud and Seminyak traffic can add 30-60 minutes to short drives. Kuta-Ubud takes 1.5–2 hours in peak hours. Plan airport transfers with buffer time.
Mosquitoes: Dengue is present in Bali, particularly in the wet season. Carry repellent.
Reef-safe sunscreen: Required for any snorkelling or water activities.
Drone flying: Requires permission in some temple areas and near Ngurah Rai Airport. Do not fly without checking local rules.
Honeymoon perks: Many Bali hotels offer honeymoon perks (flower bath, cake, room upgrade) if told in advance - we share your booking as a honeymoon at the time of reservation. If you want additional surprises (private dinner, photographer, flower decorations), tell us at booking.
Seasonal Considerations:

Cancellation & refund policy
Cancellation, Amendment & Refund Policy
1. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment
A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment. The company reserves the right to release unconfirmed bookings without prior notice. All payments made towards booking confirmation are subject to the cancellation terms mentioned below.
2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels. Cancellation charges will be calculated based on the total package cost and the date on which the written cancellation request is received by the company.

3. Non-Refundable Components
The following components shall be strictly non-refundable once confirmed:
- Flight/train tickets (if applicable)
- Visa fees
- Permit charges
- Peak season hotel bookings
- Houseboat bookings during high season
- Adventure/activity tickets
- Any special event or festive season supplement
- Service fees, processing fees, and convenience charges
The company reserves the right to deduct supplier-imposed cancellation charges in addition to the above retention charges wherever applicable.
4. Amendment / Rescheduling Policy
Any amendment, modification, postponement, or rescheduling request must be submitted in writing and shall be subject to availability and supplier approval. The company does not guarantee acceptance of amendment requests after booking confirmation. Any fare difference, seasonal surcharge, hotel rate revision, transport cost escalation, or supplier-imposed amendment fee shall be payable additionally by the client/agent. Amendments requested within 30 days of arrival may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking at the sole discretion of the company.
5. No Show Policy
Failure of the guest/client to arrive, utilize booked services, or join the tour on the scheduled date without prior written intimation shall be treated as a “No Show”.
In such cases:
- 100% of the total booking amount shall be forfeited
- No refund, amendment, or credit note shall be applicable
- Unused services, early departures, or missed sightseeing tours shall not qualify for any refund.
6. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances
Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be held liable for any cancellation, delay, alteration, loss, or additional expense arising due to circumstances beyond the company’s control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods, snowfall, landslides, road blockages
- Political unrest, strikes, curfews
- Flight cancellations or operational disruptions
- Pandemic-related restrictions
- Government orders or travel advisories
Under such circumstances:
- Refunds, if any, shall strictly depend upon recoveries received from hotels, transporters, and other suppliers.
- Administrative, processing, and operational charges shall remain non-refundable.
- The company reserves the absolute right to alter itineraries in the interest of guest safety and operational feasibility.
7. Refund Policy
Eligible refunds, if any, shall be processed within 30–45 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refund timelines are subject to receipt of funds from respective suppliers/vendors. Refunds shall be processed only through the original payment mode unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bank charges, payment gateway fees, foreign exchange fluctuations, and transaction charges shall be deducted from the refundable amount.
8. Pricing & Supplier Protection Clause
All package rates are dynamic and subject to availability at the time of confirmation. In case of sudden supplier tariff revisions, fuel hikes, government taxes, or hotel policy changes, the company reserves the right to revise package pricing prior to final confirmation. Confirmed bookings shall remain protected unless impacted by force majeure or supplier default.
9. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising in relation to bookings, payments, or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir only.
10. Hotel Damage & Liability Clause
Any loss, damage, breakage, theft, or misuse of hotel/houseboat property caused by guests shall be the sole responsibility of the guest and/or the booking agent. Charges imposed by the hotel/houseboat management for damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or misconduct must be settled directly by the guest or agent before check-out. Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be held liable for disputes arising between guests and hotel management regarding damages or conduct. The company reserves the right to recover any unpaid damage charges from the booking agent in case the guest departs without settlement.
11. Guest Conduct Policy
Guests are expected to maintain respectful and lawful behavior throughout the tour. Any misconduct including but not limited to:
- Abuse towards staff/drivers/hotel employees
- Illegal activities
- Consumption of prohibited substances
- Damage to public or private property
- Disturbance to other guests
May result in immediate termination of services without any refund. Any fines, penalties, legal consequences, or damages arising due to guest behavior shall be borne entirely by the guest and/or (b2b) booking agent. The company reserves the right to deny services to intoxicated, abusive, or disruptive guests if deemed necessary for operational safety.
12. Payment Default Clause
All payments must be cleared within the agreed timeline prior to guest arrival unless otherwise approved in writing. Failure to clear pending dues may result in:
- Release of hotel bookings
- Suspension of services
- Denial of check-in/check-out assistance
- Cancellation of transport arrangements without further liability on the company.
In case of delayed payments:
- The company reserves the right to levy interest/late payment charges.
- Any supplier penalties arising due to delayed payment shall be recoverable from the booking agent/client.
- Vouchers and confirmations issued prior to full payment shall remain provisional until payment realization.
13. Peak Season / Blackout Cancellation Policy
The following periods shall be treated as Peak Season / Blackout Dates:
- Christmas & New Year
- Eid Holidays
- Long weekends
- National holidays
- Heavy snowfall periods
- Festival dates
- Any dates specifically notified by the company
During these periods:
- Hotel bookings, transport services, and houseboats may carry stricter cancellation terms imposed by suppliers.
- Certain bookings may become completely non-refundable immediately after confirmation.
- Advance payments during blackout periods may be non-transferable and non-adjustable.
- The company reserves the right to apply special cancellation policies for peak dates irrespective of the standard cancellation policy mentioned above.
14. Kashmir Weather / Snowfall Disclaimer
Kashmir is a weather-sensitive destination and operations may be affected due to:
- Snowfall
- Landslides
- Road closures
- Avalanches
- Traffic restrictions
- Flight disruptions
- Government-imposed movement restrictions
Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be responsible for:
- Non-availability of sightseeing
- Gondola closure
- Missed flights/trains
- Route diversions
- Hotel changes caused by weather conditions
- Delay or cancellation of activities due to snowfall or road blockage
Additional expenses arising due to:
- Extra hotel nights
- Alternative transport
- Route changes
- Vehicle chain charges during snow
- Flight rescheduling
Shall be borne directly by the guest/client. No refund shall be applicable for unused services caused due to weather conditions or government restrictions beyond operational control.
15. Supplier Substitution Clause
In case any confirmed hotel, houseboat, or transport provider becomes unavailable due to operational reasons, overbooking, weather conditions, maintenance, or force majeure, the company reserves the right to provide a similar category alternative without prior liability. Every effort shall be made to maintain service standards and comfort levels.
16. B2B Confidentiality Clause
All contracted rates, quotations, and pricing shared with agents/partners are strictly confidential and intended solely for B2B business use. Redistribution of net rates directly to suppliers, competitors, or unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited. The company reserves the right to terminate business relationships in case of rate misuse or breach of confidentiality.
