7 DAYS,
UP TO PANGONG TSO
SRINAGAR: ARRIVE AT BASE
Check in on Dal Lake. Evening circle: twelve introductions, and each of you names the one decision you came up the mountain with.
SRINAGAR: SLOW DOWN
A shikara at first light, the old city on foot, and your first Decision Circle in the afternoon. Wazwan at the long table.
OVER ZOJI LA TO KARGIL
The road climbs out of the valley via Sonamarg. Altitude Walks in pairs at the meadows, then on to Kargil for the night.
INTO LEH
Past Lamayuru’s moonland to Leh. A rest afternoon for your body, a second Decision Circle for your plan.
OVER CHANG LA TO PANGONG
The highest road of the week, then the lake. Phones away. A quiet evening to sit with what has shifted.
SUMMIT SUNRISE
Before dawn, you write your Summit Brief. Before lunch, you read it to the circle and they hold you to it.
DESCENT: COMMIT
Back in Leh. Your first move, your Rope Team partner, your 30-day check-in date. Then home.
A DECISION, ON PAPER, SIGNED.

There comes a point when travel begins to mean something more. More than ticking destinations off a list. More than luxury for the sake of luxury. More than simply going somewhere new.
For me, the most meaningful journeys were never just about places — they were about perspective. The people you meet unexpectedly. The conversations that stay with you. The stillness of a mountain morning. The feeling of being completely present, somewhere far from routine, yet strangely closer to yourself.
Altitude Society was born from this belief.
A belief that travel, when experienced intentionally, has the power to shift something within us. That the right environment, the right people, and the right moments can quietly redefine how we see the world — and ourselves.
This was never meant to be for everyone.
It is for those who seek depth over distraction. Meaning over movement. Experiences that feel personal, rare, and deeply unforgettable.
If you find yourself here, perhaps you are already one of them.
Welcome to Altitude Society.

Reachable all week
Someone from Poise is a call away, day and night, for the whole trip.

Heartfelt thanks to Poise Travel and Tourism.
They planned our Amarnath Yatra and Kashmir trip very well and special thanks to Raista Ji who took care of us like a family member and kept us happy during the trip. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
How fit do I need to be?
If you can walk for a few hours at an easy pace, you can do this. There is no technical climbing. We travel by road and walk at altitude, slowly.
What about altitude sickness?
The route is built to prevent it. We drive up from Srinagar at 1,585 m and climb gradually over five days before we sleep high, which is how the body adjusts. Our ground team knows the route and the signs to watch for. Talk to your doctor before you travel if you have a heart or lung condition.
What does it cost, and what is not included?
One price covers everything on the ground from Srinagar to Leh: stays, meals, transport, permits, sessions and the hosts. Flights into Srinagar and home from Leh are not included. Nothing is paid when you apply.
Is this a networking event?
No. There are no pitches, no name badges and no panels. You come with one real decision, and twelve people spend a week helping each other make theirs. The connections last because of that work.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. You can apply solo or with one other person. Each of you applies separately.
What if I am not selected?
We reply to every application within 48 hours. If this cohort is not the right fit, we will say so plainly, and tell you if a later one might be.
What if I need to cancel?
Our cancellation policy applies, and the full terms are shared with your invitation before you pay anything.
What happens after the week?
You leave with your Summit Brief and a Rope Team partner. We check in with you at 30 and 90 days, and you stay part of the society: alumni meet-ups, and first access to later cohorts.
Something else? Read our cancellation policy or ask us on WhatsApp.
THE MOUNTAIN WILL WAIT.
YOUR DECISION SHOULDN'T.
Twelve seats per cohort. Applying takes two minutes and costs nothing, and you hear back within 48 hours.
