Indian passport holders are not covered by Indonesia's visa-free entry programme, but are eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at Ngurah Rai International Airport, or an e-VoA applied for online beforehand. Both cost the same and grant 30 days, extendable once for a further 30. The e-VoA lets you use automated immigration gates, which is meaningfully faster. Your passport needs at least six months' validity."

"Yes, it's mandatory and separate from your visa fee. All international visitors pay IDR 150,000 (roughly ₹800) per person, once per trip, introduced in February 2024 and still in force. Pay in advance through the official Love Bali portal and save the QR code -officials may ask for it at the airport or at tourist attractions. Paying online avoids the arrival counter queues."

"A digital form that replaced previous separate immigration, customs and health declarations. It became mandatory for all air arrivals from 16 July 2026. Complete it online before departure and present the QR code on arrival. It can be completed at the airport, but that means additional waiting.
