Day by day
Day 1 — Arrival in Singapore, Marina Bay Evening Route: Changi Airport (SIN) → Singapore city (approx. 20 km, 25–35 minutes)
Arrive at Changi Airport (SIN) - consistently rated one of the world's best airports. Indian passport holders get visa-free entry to Singapore for up to 30 days; the e-Pass is issued electronically at immigration and emailed to you. Your driver meets you at arrivals and drives to your hotel in Marina Bay, Orchard Road or Bugis (25–35 minutes depending on traffic). Check in and rest. In the evening, walk to Marina Bay Sands - the three-tower hotel with the SkyPark (a ship-shaped rooftop at 200 m). The Spectra light and water show runs at 8 PM and 9 PM (and an extra 10 PM show on Fridays and Saturdays) on the Event Plaza at Marina Bay Sands. Dinner at a restaurant in Marina Bay or along the Singapore River. The area is very walkable and clean - one of the safest cities in the world.

Singapore is one of the world's most expensive cities for alcohol - a beer at a bar is SGD 15-20, and cocktails SGD 25-35. This is not a drinking honeymoon destination. Singapore uses the Singapore Dollar (SGD); ATMs are widely available at Changi and throughout the city.
Day 2 — City Tour, Gardens by the Bay and Night Safari Route: Singapore → City tour → Gardens by the Bay → Night Safari → Singapore
Morning city tour - start at Merlion Park (the iconic half-lion, half-fish statue at the mouth of the Singapore River), then Raffles Hotel (exterior), the Colonial District, Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam (Arab Street). Lunch at a hawker centre - Singapore's hawker culture is UNESCO-listed, and a meal costs SGD 5-8 per person; try Hainanese chicken rice, laksa or chilli crab. Afternoon: Gardens by the Bay - the Supertree Grove, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome (tickets SGD 28–53 per person depending on which conservatories you enter). Important: Night Safari starts at 7:15 PM and runs until midnight - book tickets online in advance, especially on weekends. The Night Safari tram ride is 40 minutes; the walking trails add another 1-2 hours. Wear comfortable shoes. Gardens by the Bay Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are air-conditioned and a welcome break from Singapore's heat. The Supertree Grove Garden Rhapsody is free and worth timing your visit for - the 7:45 PM show is the busiest.
Day 3 — Sentosa Island: Universal Studios and Beaches Route: Singapore → Sentosa Island → Singapore
Full day on Sentosa Island - Singapore's resort island, reached by cable car, monorail, or the Sentosa Express from VivoCity. Morning: Universal Studios Singapore (tickets SGD 83–88 per person) - seven themed zones, including Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, and Far Far Away. It's smaller than Universal Orlando or Japan but well-run and worth a full day. Alternatively, S.E.A. Aquarium (SGD 44 per person) is a strong option if you'd rather skip rides. Afternoon: Sentosa beaches - Palawan, Siloso and Tanjong - are calm, clean, and connected by a beach shuttle. The Palawan Beach walkway to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia is a short scenic stop. Day 4 — Orchard Road Shopping, Departure Route: Singapore → Orchard Road → Changi Airport (SIN)
Check out after breakfast and spend the morning on Orchard Road - Singapore's main shopping street, with ION Orchard, Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya), Paragon and Mandarin Gallery all within walking distance. Singapore is not the bargain shopping destination it once was - electronics are no longer cheaper than India, but cosmetics, luxury brands, and Uniqlo/Muji are well-priced. If shopping isn't your priority, alternative morning options include the Singapore Botanic Gardens (UNESCO-listed, free) or the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. Transfer to Changi Airport (SIN) - 30–40 minutes from the city. International departures recommend arriving 3 hours before the flight - Changi is efficient but the airport is huge, and Jewel Changi (the dome with the Rain Vortex waterfall) is worth 30-45 minutes if you're early.

Jewel Changi is attached to Terminal 1 and is worth visiting even if you're departing from another terminal - the Rain Vortex (40 m indoor waterfall) is the world's tallest. If your flight is before 11 AM, skip Orchard Road and go straight to the airport.

Smart-casual outfits for fine dining and rooftop bars (some have dress codes - no shorts, no flip-flops). One light layer for air-conditioned malls and restaurants. Rain jacket or umbrella - Singapore rain is frequent and sudden, even in the "dry" season.
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes - Singapore is a walking city and you'll cover a lot of ground. Sandals or flip-flops for Sentosa beaches and the hotel pool.
Travel Essentials: Sunscreen SPF 50+ (Singapore is close to the equator - UV is strong year-round), insect repellent (mosquitoes are present, especially in the Botanic Gardens), sunglasses, power bank, universal adapter (Singapore uses Type G, 230V - UK-style three-pin plug), basic medicines, reusable water bottle (tap water is safe to drink in Singapore), small umbrella.

Best Time to Travel:
Singapore is a year-round destination - it's hot and humid (25-33°C) every month, with rain possible any time. The best windows are February to April and July to September - drier months, though "dry" in Singapore means fewer afternoon showers, not zero rain. November to January is the northeast monsoon - heavier rain, especially in December. Avoid the Lunar New Year (late January or early February) and Hari Raya - hotels and attractions sell out at premium rates, and many restaurants close. Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix (usually September) is another peak - hotel rates triple.
Suitable For:
Couples and honeymooners who want a compact, cosmopolitan city break with a mix of sightseeing, theme parks, shopping and food. Singapore is safe, clean and English-speaking - an easy first international trip. Not suitable for travellers who want beach time (Sentosa's beaches are man-made and small - they're pleasant but not a beach holiday), or who want a slow-paced, laid-back trip. Not suitable for travellers on a tight budget - Singapore is expensive.
Travel Pace:
Moderate to active. Day 1 is arrival and evening. Day 2 is a full city tour plus Gardens by the Bay and Night Safari - the longest day. Day 3 is a full Sentosa day. Day 4 is shopping and departure. This is a compact 4-day trip - you'll cover a lot. Couples who want a slower pace should extend to 5D/4N.
Accommodation:
Singapore: 4-star or 5-star hotel in Marina Bay, Orchard Road or Bugis (double sharing). Marina Bay is best for the skyline and Marina Bay Sands views; Orchard Road is best for shopping and dining; Bugis is best for value and hawker food access. Upgrades to premium properties (Marina Bay Sands, Raffles Singapore, Fullerton Bay Hotel, Capella Sentosa) available on request.
Transport:
Private AC vehicle for all included transfers and city tour. The vehicle is exclusively for the two of you. For intra-city trips beyond the included tour, use the MRT (Singapore's metro - cheap, clean, fast) or Grab. The MRT is the best way to get around Singapore - a single journey costs SGD 1–3, and the network covers every major attraction. Do not rely on taxis during peak hours - they're expensive and can be hard to find.
Meals:
Breakfast included on all days. Lunches and dinners are not included - budget SGD 10-30 per person per meal at hawker centres, SGD 40–80 at mid-range restaurants, and SGD 100+ at fine dining. Singapore's hawker centres are UNESCO-listed and a highlight - Maxwell Food Centre, Lau Pa Sat, Old Airport Road, and Tiong Bahru are the best. A hawker meal costs SGD 5-8. Chilli crab at a seafood restaurant is SGD 80-120 for two - worth doing once. Vegetarian and Jain food is widely available at Little India restaurants and at most hotel restaurants.

Currency: Singapore Dollar (SGD). ATMs are widely available at Changi and throughout the city. Cards are accepted almost everywhere - Singapore is close to cashless. Hawker centres are the main exception - some stalls are cash-only, though many now accept PayNow or GrabPay.
SIM card: Local SIMs (Singtel, StarHub, M1) are available at Changi on arrival - approximately SGD 12–30 for a tourist SIM with 7-14 days validity.
Tipping: Not expected in Singapore. 10% service charge and 9% GST are already included in restaurant bills.
Chewing gum: Sale of chewing gum is banned in Singapore (except for therapeutic gum). Bringing large quantities in can attract fines.
Littering and jaywalking: Heavily fined. Singapore is one of the world's cleanest and safest cities - the rules are enforced.
LGBTQ+ travellers: Section 377A was repealed in 2022, but Singapore remains a socially conservative country. Same-sex couples should exercise discretion in public.
Honeymoon perks: Many Singapore hotels offer honeymoon perks (room upgrade, cake, flower decoration, fruit basket) if told in advance - we share your booking as a honeymoon at the time of reservation. If you want additional surprises (private dinner, photographer, flower decorations), tell us at booking.
Singapore is expensive: Alcohol (SGD 15-20 per beer at a bar), taxis, and fine dining are pricey. Budget SGD 100-150 per day per person for meals and incidentals on top of the package cost.

February-April: Best window - drier months, though afternoon showers still occur. Comfortable temperatures. Book 4–6 weeks ahead.
May-June: Slightly wetter. Still travelable - Singapore rain is usually short, intense, and clears quickly.

Cancellation & refund policy
Cancellation, Amendment & Refund Policy
1. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment
A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment. The company reserves the right to release unconfirmed bookings without prior notice. All payments made towards booking confirmation are subject to the cancellation terms mentioned below.
2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels. Cancellation charges will be calculated based on the total package cost and the date on which the written cancellation request is received by the company.

3. Non-Refundable Components
The following components shall be strictly non-refundable once confirmed:
- Flight/train tickets (if applicable)
- Visa fees
- Permit charges
- Peak season hotel bookings
- Houseboat bookings during high season
- Adventure/activity tickets
- Any special event or festive season supplement
- Service fees, processing fees, and convenience charges
The company reserves the right to deduct supplier-imposed cancellation charges in addition to the above retention charges wherever applicable.
4. Amendment / Rescheduling Policy
Any amendment, modification, postponement, or rescheduling request must be submitted in writing and shall be subject to availability and supplier approval. The company does not guarantee acceptance of amendment requests after booking confirmation. Any fare difference, seasonal surcharge, hotel rate revision, transport cost escalation, or supplier-imposed amendment fee shall be payable additionally by the client/agent. Amendments requested within 30 days of arrival may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking at the sole discretion of the company.
5. No Show Policy
Failure of the guest/client to arrive, utilize booked services, or join the tour on the scheduled date without prior written intimation shall be treated as a “No Show”.
In such cases:
- 100% of the total booking amount shall be forfeited
- No refund, amendment, or credit note shall be applicable
- Unused services, early departures, or missed sightseeing tours shall not qualify for any refund.
6. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances
Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be held liable for any cancellation, delay, alteration, loss, or additional expense arising due to circumstances beyond the company’s control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods, snowfall, landslides, road blockages
- Political unrest, strikes, curfews
- Flight cancellations or operational disruptions
- Pandemic-related restrictions
- Government orders or travel advisories
Under such circumstances:
- Refunds, if any, shall strictly depend upon recoveries received from hotels, transporters, and other suppliers.
- Administrative, processing, and operational charges shall remain non-refundable.
- The company reserves the absolute right to alter itineraries in the interest of guest safety and operational feasibility.
7. Refund Policy
Eligible refunds, if any, shall be processed within 30–45 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refund timelines are subject to receipt of funds from respective suppliers/vendors. Refunds shall be processed only through the original payment mode unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bank charges, payment gateway fees, foreign exchange fluctuations, and transaction charges shall be deducted from the refundable amount.
8. Pricing & Supplier Protection Clause
All package rates are dynamic and subject to availability at the time of confirmation. In case of sudden supplier tariff revisions, fuel hikes, government taxes, or hotel policy changes, the company reserves the right to revise package pricing prior to final confirmation. Confirmed bookings shall remain protected unless impacted by force majeure or supplier default.
9. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising in relation to bookings, payments, or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir only.
10. Hotel Damage & Liability Clause
Any loss, damage, breakage, theft, or misuse of hotel/houseboat property caused by guests shall be the sole responsibility of the guest and/or the booking agent. Charges imposed by the hotel/houseboat management for damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or misconduct must be settled directly by the guest or agent before check-out. Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be held liable for disputes arising between guests and hotel management regarding damages or conduct. The company reserves the right to recover any unpaid damage charges from the booking agent in case the guest departs without settlement.
11. Guest Conduct Policy
Guests are expected to maintain respectful and lawful behavior throughout the tour. Any misconduct including but not limited to:
- Abuse towards staff/drivers/hotel employees
- Illegal activities
- Consumption of prohibited substances
- Damage to public or private property
- Disturbance to other guests
May result in immediate termination of services without any refund. Any fines, penalties, legal consequences, or damages arising due to guest behavior shall be borne entirely by the guest and/or (b2b) booking agent. The company reserves the right to deny services to intoxicated, abusive, or disruptive guests if deemed necessary for operational safety.
12. Payment Default Clause
All payments must be cleared within the agreed timeline prior to guest arrival unless otherwise approved in writing. Failure to clear pending dues may result in:
- Release of hotel bookings
- Suspension of services
- Denial of check-in/check-out assistance
- Cancellation of transport arrangements without further liability on the company.
In case of delayed payments:
- The company reserves the right to levy interest/late payment charges.
- Any supplier penalties arising due to delayed payment shall be recoverable from the booking agent/client.
- Vouchers and confirmations issued prior to full payment shall remain provisional until payment realization.
13. Peak Season / Blackout Cancellation Policy
The following periods shall be treated as Peak Season / Blackout Dates:
- Christmas & New Year
- Eid Holidays
- Long weekends
- National holidays
- Heavy snowfall periods
- Festival dates
- Any dates specifically notified by the company
During these periods:
- Hotel bookings, transport services, and houseboats may carry stricter cancellation terms imposed by suppliers.
- Certain bookings may become completely non-refundable immediately after confirmation.
- Advance payments during blackout periods may be non-transferable and non-adjustable.
- The company reserves the right to apply special cancellation policies for peak dates irrespective of the standard cancellation policy mentioned above.
14. Kashmir Weather / Snowfall Disclaimer
Kashmir is a weather-sensitive destination and operations may be affected due to:
- Snowfall
- Landslides
- Road closures
- Avalanches
- Traffic restrictions
- Flight disruptions
- Government-imposed movement restrictions
Poise Travel and Tourism shall not be responsible for:
- Non-availability of sightseeing
- Gondola closure
- Missed flights/trains
- Route diversions
- Hotel changes caused by weather conditions
- Delay or cancellation of activities due to snowfall or road blockage
Additional expenses arising due to:
- Extra hotel nights
- Alternative transport
- Route changes
- Vehicle chain charges during snow
- Flight rescheduling
Shall be borne directly by the guest/client. No refund shall be applicable for unused services caused due to weather conditions or government restrictions beyond operational control.
15. Supplier Substitution Clause
In case any confirmed hotel, houseboat, or transport provider becomes unavailable due to operational reasons, overbooking, weather conditions, maintenance, or force majeure, the company reserves the right to provide a similar category alternative without prior liability. Every effort shall be made to maintain service standards and comfort levels.
16. B2B Confidentiality Clause
All contracted rates, quotations, and pricing shared with agents/partners are strictly confidential and intended solely for B2B business use. Redistribution of net rates directly to suppliers, competitors, or unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited. The company reserves the right to terminate business relationships in case of rate misuse or breach of confidentiality.
