J&K Tourism Revival: Aru Valley, Padshahi Park, Dagan Top And 9 More Destinations Reopen Months After Pahalgam Attack

The Jammu & Kashmir administration has taken a decisive step to revive the region’s struggling tourism sector by reopening 12 key destinations from Monday, September 29. The move comes after these sites were shut following the Pahalgam attack in April, which had sent shockwaves through the tourism community and severely affected local businesses dependent on visitors. Soon after the attack, 48 of the 87 popular tourist destinations had been temporarily closed in Kashmir, while security had been heightened in others after the terrorist attack in Baisaran valley.
